We are really excited about the Copper Blush trend that we talked about here. We have collected a few easy DIYs so that you can get that copper blush look at home this season. All you need is metallic copper spray...its your new best friend.
This copper table is the most complicated DIY but doesn't have to be if there is a table frame you already love, just unleash the spray. It's an Ikea hack as well so we are sure it would be great value.
Remember the copper chairs from the design article. This thrifty Swedish maker has created the same look with just a can of copper spray. Unless you have excellent Swedish have google translate at the ready.
These two DIYs are both from Homey Oh My. The tin can planters contrast perfect;y with the greens of the herbs. The DIY for the copper dipped vases brings together classic crystal vases with a moden copper look...just add flowers.
Or keep it simple and add a few natural elements into the mix. Spray paint pumpkins, gourds and other firm fruit or veg and follow Martha Stewart's lead.
Here is one of our teams take on a copper DIY, though it doesn't involve spray paint. This pen holder is actually the bottom of a whiskey tube. It has nice copper details in the font and the metal base is also in the same colour. We simply cut around the tube to the size we wanted with a sharp craft knife and we had an instant attractive desk tidy. Extra brownie points for upcycling too.
